In the downstairs Archer Room (through the lobby stairwell)

(event is over)

Kathleen Ernst has written many books for young readers, including eighteen for American Girl. Most recently she created Caroline Abbott, a character who lived during the War of 1812. During her program she'll talk about writing her newest book, Catch the Wind: My Journey With Caroline. Catch the Wind involves time travel, and it is a choose-your-own-ending book too. She will also provide a sneak preview of The Smuggler's Secret: A Caroline Mystery, which will be published in 2015. Door prize will include a Caroline doll. Books will be available for sale.
