EVENT FOR ADULTS
Forward Theater presents: 'Soul Food'

Forward Theater presents: Soul Food, a collection of monologues from playwrights across the country featuring engaging, embarrassing, hilarious, and heart-warming stories that revolve around food. Made possible in part by a grant from the Beyond the Page Endowment.
Monologues and Performers:
- "Beer is Food" by Sam White: A man faces a tough decision when his pregnant wife becomes sensitive to the smell of beer. Performed by Paul Milisch.
- "Door #1" by Lori Matthews: A mother uses food to impart some wisdom to her son as he heads to college. Performed by Michele Good.
- "Chocolate Lava Cake" by Jonathan Tarlin: When you’re sharing dessert, who gets the last bite? Performed by Jessica Witham.
- "The Family Feast" by Derek Aimonetto: A man seeks common ground with his in-laws. Performed by R. Peter Hunt.
- "Hot Nuts" by Kimberly Megna Yarnall: A man’s life is never the same after his first taste of a new recipe. Performed by Michael Herold, founding member of Forward Theater Company, and member of Actors’ Equity Association.
