Adult Craft Event: Suminigashi with Theresa Kim

Thursday June 7 at 6:30pm
In the downstairs Archer Room (through the lobby stairwell)

Registration Required
(event is over)

Suminigashi with Theresa Kim Ink on water is magical. Suminigashi is a Japanese form of paper marbling. Over and over again, people who do this workshop are mesmerized at what happens when you let go and get curious. In the end you take home marbled paper, but the real power is in the process. Theresa Kim is an artist and teacher who holds a Professional Life Coaching Certificate (PLCC) from UW-Madison. She says that all of her workshops are "based on the idea of meditative creativity. Of getting quiet and grounded in the process of creating something, without attachment to the final product. That means there is no artistic experience or ability required. Everyone comes as they are, and leaves more relaxed and more connected." Registration for this event opens on May 7th. Space is limited. Open to ages 16+.
