Learn more about the history of German WWII POWs in Wisconsin and the writing of "Margaret's War", the fascinating story of a small Midwestern town where German POWs have been brought in to work on farms. Bill, who lives in Mazomanie, is retired after 35 years as a columnist and feature writer for the Chicago Tribune, the Wisconsin State Journal, the Milwaukee Journal, and the Stevens Point Daily Journal. This is his first novel.
