Millions of Americans own copyrights: artists, musicians, writers, teachers, architects, designers, choreographers, photographers, coders, jewelers, engineers, cartographers…even pantomimists! Copyright is an asset that requires special handling, in the estate. Attorney, author, and emcee of "Get Moving Middleton", Elizabeth Russell, will share information about how to avoid common errors in wills and trusts, so copyright assets pass as you intend. Estate planning professionals welcome and encouraged to attend! Beth Russell helps businesses protect their most important assets by providing thoughtful, thorough counsel in the fields of copyright, trademark and digital business law. She is the author of "Copyright Conversations: What Estate Planners Need to Know" (Ruly Press 2019) and also maintains a vibrant arts law practice.
