So your child plays D&D...but what does that actually mean? Sign up for this introduction to what Dungeons & Dragons is and how it works. An experienced Dungeon Master (DM) and library staff will answer answer questions like "What's a nat 20?" "Is the game educational?" "What's the difference between a dragon and a dragonborn?" and of course "why do you need so many dice?" as well as any other questions you may have. We will also play a short guided game so you can get an idea of how it all comes together.

While this workshop is designed for people looking to learn more about the game, but who may not be interested in playing, we will have information if you decide you do want to continue playing. Everyone interested in learning more is welcome, but if you're actively interested in learning to play, we suggest you also check out the Dungeons & Dragons for Adults (geared towards new players) on 7/15.
