Local Author Collection

The Library has established a Local Author Collection to support Middleton’s writing community. This collection is located in the Local History Room in the Library’s Lower Level. All books will be searchable in LINKcat, the catalog for the South Central Library System, and may be placed on hold and checked out for four weeks.

We wish to build a diverse collection that reflects the creativity of the community, with fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and plays for adults, teens, and children. The collection will be limited to books by authors residing in the Middleton area, originally from the Middleton area, set in the Middleton area, or with strong local interest. They may be professionally published or self-published.

We are currently accepting donations for consideration to be included in the collection. Please read, print, and fill out the Submission Form below and submit it with a copy of the book to staff at the Main Level Service Desk. Library staff will be happy to provide you with a form if you stop by the Library as well.
