The Middleton Public Library is going to the parks this summer! Join in the fun at Harvey John and Lucille Taylor, and Orchid Heights Parks. All visits will offer Summer Reading Program sign up, free books, and a take-and-make craft (while supplies last). IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES: 1. Mask wearing is encouraged when visiting the library table 2. Only one family at the library table at one time 3. Those waiting to visit the library table should social distance at least 6ft from each other AND the library table 4. To eliminate multiple people touching the books, all books will be behind plexiglass or plastic sheeting and only library staff will touch the items. Look with eyes and not with hands! 5. Wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and afterwards Orchid Heights (3960 Valley Ridge Rd): Every other Wednesdays from 10-11am on July 1, July 15, July 29, August 12. Look for the library near the pavilion. Harvey John and Lucille Taylor(5280 Bishops Bay Pkwy): Every other Thursday from 10-11am on July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20. Friday July 24   
 
The Middleton Public Library is partnering with the Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) and the Madison Reading Project to get free books to children this summer! These events will be held at the MOM location, weather permitting. MOM is located at 3502 Parmenter Street in Middleton. Books will be available for children from birth to 18 years old. A limited number of bilingual books may be available. Friday, July 24 from 9:00-11:00 am Friday, August 7 from 1:00-2:30 pm PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES: -Cars should enter the MOM parking lot and follow the cones. -One household at a time will be able to approach the tables. -You will need to wear a face covering (mask, scarf, bandana, etc.) when you exit your vehicle. -You must use hand sanitizer (available on-site) before touching anything on the tables. These distributions will be first come, first serve. We will not be able to hold items or take special requests. Items will be placed on tables for you to view and select from. ______________________________________________ ¡MOM se complace en anunciar que nos estamos asociando con la Biblioteca Pública de Middleton y el Madison Reading Project para llevar libros gratis a los niños este verano! Los libros estarán disponibles para bebés de hasta 18 años. Un número limitado de libros en español puede estar disponible. Thursday August 20   
 
Visit the Middleton Public Library at the Walter R. Bauman Aquatic Center for Middle School Night at the Pool. Students in 5-8th grade have full use of the pool at this annual event hosted by the Middleton Recreation Department. The library will bring lots of free books to choose from (and keep!). When you're not splashing around in the pool, enjoy some yummmy food specials, fun contests, plus many more activities! This annual event is hosted by the Middleton Recreation Department and benefits the Middleton Youth Center. PLEASE NOTE: this event requires a $3 per person admission fee. This event is ONLY for 5-8th graders and the pool will be closed to all others.
