In conjunction with Four Seasons Theatre's "Wonderful World of Disney Musicals" performance later this afternoon, kids of all ages are welcome to stop by on the library's main level to craft a sea creature that might live "under the sea" in the world of The Little Mermaid! No registration is required for this craft. All materials will be provided.

Join Madison-area theater company Four Seasons Theatre as they perform some of the greatest songs from the world of Disney films, spanning the decades from Snow White to Frozen. Immediately after the performance, Scott Mellor, a UW-Madison professor of German, Nordic and Slavic Languages, will discuss the origins of the The Little Mermaid and lead a talk-back exploring the meaning of these stories and how they've been adapted over the years. Bring your little sprouts to the Greenway Station Playdate Series at the Greenway Station Farmers’ Market on Thursday, May 16 between 9-10:30am for this free, family-friendly event! Each month from May through October, there will be a variety of fun and free activities for families to enjoy brought to you by Greenway Station, Madison Moms Blog, and the Middleton Public Library! The theme for the first event on May 16th is "Bring May Flowers" and the Madison Moms Blog has a great selection of activities lined up such as A Planting Station, Blooming Flower Yoga with The Well, and a 3D Springy Craft with The Well! The Middleton Public Library will also have books for checkout and a variety of outdoor toys to explore and play with. The Middleton Arts Committee is hosting a free, one day Art Walk featuring the works of 28 fine artists in a variety of media at 15 locations. The event will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 10am-4pm. Painting, photography, jewelry, and more for show and sale. Live demonstrations and jazz music in vibrant downtown Middleton, which features locally-owned restaurants and boutique retailers. We are seeking volunteers to participate.
