The Middleton Public Library is going to the parks this summer! Join in the fun at Harvey John and Lucille Taylor Park for this final summer Library in the Park visit. Free books, and a take-and-make craft (while supplies last). IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES: 1. Mask wearing is encouraged when visiting the library table 2. Only one family at the library table at one time 3. Those waiting to visit the library table should social distance at least 6ft from each other AND the library table 4. To eliminate multiple people touching the books, look at selection and tell library staff which book you want and they will give it to you. Look with eyes and not with hands! 5. Wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and afterwards Harvey John and Lucille Taylor(5280 Bishops Bay Pkwy) August 20 from 10-11am. Look for the library near the pavilion. Visit the Middleton Public Library at the Walter R. Bauman Aquatic Center for Middle School Pool Night at this fundraiser hosted by the Middleton Recreation Department. PLEASE NOTE: ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Visit middleton.recdesk.com/Community/Home to sign up. Registration begins on 8/6/2020. Students in 5-8th grade have full use of the pool at this annual event hosted by the Middleton Recreation Department. The library will bring free books to choose from (and keep!). The Walter R. Bauman Aquatic Center is located at 2400 Park Lawn Place, in Middleton, WI. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $4 per person admission fee with all proceeds benefiting the Middleton Youth Center. This event is ONLY for 5-8th graders and the pool will be closed to all others. This event is weather permitting. SAFETY MEASURES: Starting Monday, July 13 masks will be required for all persons ages 5+. At the Aquatic Center, patrons must where a mask when entering the main building, waiting in line, and entering/using the bathhouse. Masks are not required when patrons are on the green space or while in the water. Thank you for your cooperation and compliance.
