I wanted us all to learn a dance called the Monster Mash. It looked like so much fun in the video! I checked this new Dance Studio called Igor’s Dance Dungeon. I thought it sounded amazing when I read the online ad: “Learn to Dance with some real creatures! You’ll have a howling good time! You’ll scream for more!” Now that we are here, I realize that Igor’s Dance Dungeon is run by monsters. Real Monsters! and we are not in a dance studio, but in a real dungeon!

Come shop at our Young Entrepreneur Craft Fair! Kids ages 9-18 will be selling crafts made entirely by them! Coasters, ornaments, plushies, you name it, they'll have it! 

After shopping at the library, head to the Senior Center for their  Fall Craft Fair from 9-1! Double the shopping, double the fun!

 

If you're interested in selling at the Young Entrepreneur Craft Fair, please register on the event listed on 9/2. An application and information sheet will then be sent to you. Registration deadline for selling is 9/30.

Fall Storywalk: Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus

September 2 - November 24

​When a bus driver takes a break from his route, a very unlikely volunteer springs up to take his place - a pigeon! But you've never met one like this before. As he pleads, wheedles, and begs his way through the book, children will love being able to tell Pigeon “No!” at every turn of the page of this beloved story.

Start at Middleton Public Library to pick up a map and a free copy of the book (for the first 500 kids).

Follow the marked route to visit 23 stops around Downtown Middleton, each featuring an illustrated poster with a page from the book.

Tree-ear is an orphan in a 12th-century Korean potters' village. When he sees master potter Min making his beautiful pottery Tree-ear begins to dream of making his own pottery some day. When he accidentally breaks a pot, he is forced to work for the master and sent on a dangerous journey that may change his life forever.

Visit Middleton Public Library at the Madison Community Montessori School in Middleton for their annual Winter Market! Stop by on Saturday, December 9, between 10-2PM.   

Shop local artists, bakers, and vendors plus many student/parent craft tables and concessions. Learn about the Madison Community School then stop by the Middleton Public Library’s table to get a library card, learn about upcoming events, and to choose a free book! (while supplies last)

The Madison Community Montessori School is located at 8406 Ellington Way, Middleton
