Create your own “out of this world” space-themed diorama to be displayed at the library! Pick up your starter kit at the library beginning April 1 and return by April 13.

One kit per household, while supplies last. You may use any of your own materials to create your diorama. Entries will be on display at the library April 14 - April 25 so library patrons can vote for their favorite diorama.

April is National Poetry Month!  Drop in and create some Book Title Poetry using books from the library!  Creatively stack books together to make the titles into a poem.  Start with a selection of books for inspiration, or grab your favorite title from the shelves.  All books will be reshelved after the event.

Join the Middleton Public Library at the annual Middleton Youth Center Cultural Showcase on Thursday, April 24 from 5-6:30pm. Location: Kromrey Middle School cafeteria. Please enter through the main entrance.

Youth Center students and families will share their cultures through music, food, clothing, dance, language, and more. 

Performances will begin at 5:30pm.

Parents, siblings, friends, and community members are all welcome to attend!

Earth Day Every Day Sustainability Fair and Electric Vehicle Show, Saturday, April 26 from 10-2pm at Middleton Community Church (645 Schewe Road, Middleton)

This family-friendly event includes free admission, free popcorn, free drawings, live music, and activities for the kids, as well as dozens of exhibitors, speakers, and owner-shown electric cars!  This year there will be a zoo animal show and professional face painting.  Lunch & ice cream will be available for purchase from local food trucks.

The Middleton Library Bookmobile will be there, and also the Madison Children's Museum.

When there's a festival celebrating the 75th anniversary of a UFO crash in New Mexico, Julia and her dad decide to go. The more Julia sees, the more she thinks aliens might actually be real.

THUNDERHeads Robotics Presentation 

Saturday, May 10 @ 2pm

THUNDERHeads from BadgerBots is excited to demo their First Tech Challenge game robot! Entered in an international robotics competition against 7000 teams, 14 students from the Middleton area worked together to design, build and program a robot to play a new game. 

The team will demonstrate their robot's capabilities, discuss the design process, show how robotics develop STEM and teamwork skills and more! Kids of all ages are encouraged to attend, and the team would love to inspire young people to participate in robotics.

The new Middleton Public Library Bookmobile will be at the market with books inside for all ages to borrow!  There will also be a selection of free books for kids (while supplies last) and a variety of outdoor toys for kids to enjoy. Don't forget to bring your shopping bag and stop by all of the wonderful vendors at the farmers' market, which is open from 8-1pm. 

Greenway Station is located at 1650 Deming Way in Middleton.
