The Middleton Public Library is partnering with the Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) to give free books away to children this summer! This event will be held at the MOM location.  Look for the library under the large overhangs at MOM.  

MOM is located at 3502 Parmenter Street in Middleton. 

Free books will be available for children from birth to 18 years old. A limited number of bilingual books may be available.

MOM will also be providing snacks for kids to enjoy!

Learn about the reptiles and amphibians that call Minnesota and Wisconsin home. The audience will get to debunk turtle myths, touch snakes, watch a salamander eat, and more! We bring a tiger salamander, 1-2 native turtles, 3-4 native snakes, and 2-4 exotic reptiles (just for fun). Presented by Snake Discovery.

Everyone is invited to join the Summer Reading Program. All you need is a Reading Log: pick one up at the Summer Reading Station in the library or print one out online by visiting www,midlibrary.org.

Lakeview Park is located at 6300 Mendota Avenue. Look for the library under or near the large pavilion.

Stop by Pope Farm Elementary School on August 9 between 11-1pm to choose some free books to keep!  All Middleton Cross Plains School District students in grades K-12 are invited.

Pope Farm Elementary is located at 816 Schewe Road in Middleton.

Look for the Pope Farm Librarian and the Middleton Public Library near the front of the school.

Visit the Middleton Public Library at the Walter R. Bauman Aquatic Center for Park & Recreation's annual MIDDLE SCHOOL POOL NIGHT! 

Middle school students will have full use of the pool just for themselves! Join us for an evening of swimming, activities, and music. Proceeds will benefit the Middleton Youth Center. Open to those in grades 5-8 from 6:15-8pm on Thursday, August 18. Please note this event is ONLY for middle school students, and the pool will be closed to all others. 

The Middleton Public Library will bring lots of free books for attendees to keep! (while supplies last)

Admission is $4/person.
