‘Tween Books & Cooks (Grades 3-6) Wednesday, Oct 3, 6-7pm Theme: Out of this World! Syfy Adventure Recipe: Piece o’ Cake Put on your chef’s hat and grab your books! Make a cake from scratch - it’s out of this world! We’ll talk about books while we eat. Read one or more of the suggested books or choose your own. Registration is required - space is limited. The Middleton Public Library is excited to return to the Greenway Station Farmers’ Market on Thursday, October 4 from 8-12:30pm for the final event in the Greenway Station Playdate Series! You won’t want to miss the craft activities, storytime, Library Princess meet and greet, outdoor games, children’s books to borrow, the majestic pumpkin tower, plus all of the yummy things the farmers are selling at the market. This final Greenway Station Playdate starts at 8am and the first 400 kids to attend will receive a free cookie and mini gourd to decorate at the library’s booth area. We’ll have lots of stickers and markers kids can use to create their own unique gourd. We can’t wait to see your creations! We’ll also bring outdoor games for kids to explore. Then at 10am, Miss Lori will lead an interactive story storytime followed by a craft activity! Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on during storytime. Stick around until 11am to meet our Library Princess. Take a photo with her if you like or tell her about your favorite book. We’ll even have some princess and fall themed books available for checkout…don’t forget to bring your library card! Library staff, volunteers, and the Library Princess can’t wait to attend the final Greenway Station Playdate on Thursday October 4th from 8-12:30pm. We hope to see you there! This event takes place outdoors. Event will be cancelled for severe weather. Plenty of free onsite parking available.
