This winter, the Middleton Public Library is sending pictures, notes, jokes, and letters from children to Grand Buddies living in memory care and retirement homes here in Middleton. Since many who live in this high-risk community can't have many (or any) visitors at the moment, sharing a drawing, a joke, a poem, or maybe just some kind words might help brighten up their day.

If your child would like to be part of this program, please take a photo of your child's art, then email it to perry@midlibrary.org. Include child's first name and age if you would like to share that info with the seniors. Feel free to share up to three items per child.

To keep this program as safe as possible, only emailed entries will be accepted.

All items emailed will be compiled into a monthly letter that gets shared with local memory care and retirement homes, and with Middleton seniors receiving home bound book deliveries.

We can't wait to see what you send in and share it with our local Grand Buddies!
