Stop by Pope Farm Elementary School on June 12 and August 6 between 11-1pm to choose some free books to keep!  All Middleton Cross Plains School District students in grades K-12 and their families are invited.

Pope Farm Elementary is located at 816 Schewe Road in Middleton.

Look for the Pope Farm Librarian and the Middleton Public Library near the front of the school. If raining, this event will be held inside the entryway of the school.

Bring your little sprouts to the Greenway Station at the Farmers' Market on Thursday, June 20 between 9:30-11:30am for this free, family-friendly event! 

The Middleton Public Library will bring free books for kids (while supplies last) and a variety of outdoor toys for kids to enjoy . Don't forget to bring your shopping bag and stop by all of the wonderful vendors at the farmers' market, which is open from 8-1pm. 

Greenway Station is located at 1650 Deming Way in Middleton.

Friday July 19   
 

Visit the Middleton Public Library at Capital Flight's annual Rock the Ramp event on Friday, July 19 from 5-10pm! Capital Flight is located at:  8264 Airport Road, Middleton.

Rock the Ramp is the World’s largest re-Oshkosh/EAA fly-in, concert and airshow hosted by Capital Flight at the Middleton Municipal Airport/Morey Field and the City of Middleton’s largest single day gathering. 

Spectator admission is FREE and ALL proceeds are directed to Badger Honor Flight, an organization working to ensure that World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and terminally ill veterans from any war have the opportunity to see the memorials that have been erected in their honor.

Enjoy an aerobatic airshow, live Music from the Jake Maurer Band, Michael Goulian, food trucks to purchase food, huge silent auction, tons of AMAZING aircraft, face painting, family friendly activities, and a surprise evening event to wrap up the night!

Wednesday August 7   
 

Visit the Middleton Public Library at National Night Out, a free event held annually at Lakeview Park from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, August 7.  

Lakeview Park is located at 6300 Mendota Avenue in Middleton.  Weather permitting.




Saturday August 10   
 

Join the Middleton Public Library on Saturday, August 10, from 10-3PM at Capital Flight (8264 Airport Road, Middleton) for the 4th annual Cruise-In featuring Aviation and Autos, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting CARS CURING KIDS! Donation opportunities available if you would like to support Cars Curing Kids, which helps fund pediatric research at the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison.

Admission is FREE for spectators!  Entrance is at the main gate located at 8300 Airport Rd., Middleton, WI.  Explore the planes, cars, and the Capital Flight Hangar for displays and auction items.  

Make sure to also visit the Middleton Public Library at this event to choose a free kids book (while supplies last).  Plus try out our car movie themed trivia game!

PLEASE NOTE: This is a live airfield. Aircraft movements will be occurring. Give them a wide birth. Also please watch children etc… as many highly valuable collector vehicles and aircraft will be present. Definitely look, but please don’t touch any of the cars or aircraft on display!

Food and drinks will be available to purchase on-site. Enjoy live music too!

Bring your little sprouts to the Library Playdate at the Greenway Station Farmers' Market on Thursday, September 5 between 9:30-11:30am.  Kids can choose a free book (while supplies last) and play with some fun outdoor toys!

Don't forget to bring your shopping bag and stop by all of the wonderful vendors at the farmers' market, which is open from 8-1pm.

Saturday September 14   
 

Visit the Middleton Public Library at this year's Cops and Bobbers event from 8-12pm, held at Lakeview Park (6300 Mendota Ave) on Saturday, September 14. Hosted by the Middleton Optimist Club, this FREE event is fun for the whole family. 

First 150 kids age 15 and under receive a free fishing rod, reel & bobber, or bring your own fishing gear if you have it! 

Fun contests & prizes including BIG & Little fish contest & more. 

Visit the library's table to choose a free book (while supplies last).  Weather permitting.
