The Middleton Public Library is delighted to have such a dedicated group of teen volunteers!  If you are between 12-19 and would like to volunteer, there are 3 options:

Teen Advisory Committee meets once a month and gives recommendations on materials to purchase, possible programs, and any changes you would like to see in the Teen Section of the library.  All teens are welcome.  To become a full member, one must attend at least 3 meetings and turn in a book review to be published in our library newsletter.  Snacks are always served at meetings and members get first choice of paperbacks that are withdrawn from our collection.  Please check the latest program brochure to see when we meet next.

Weekly Volunteers:  Regular volunteers come in for an hour once a week.  Duties may vary, but generally include: shelving, making posters for upcoming events, photocopying, cutting, helping set up/clean up for programs.  Please ask for a volunteer form at the Circulation Desk if interested, and choose which options sound most appealing to you!

Summer Reading Assistant:  Register participants for the Summer Reading Program and explain details, award prizes and assist with events. Applications available at the Help Desk, application deadline: April 23

We appreciate all your help!
